# Test the offramp

> Try the testnet SEP-24 payout flow and understand what an offramp anchor learns.

The Confi.cash offramp demonstrates how a shielded balance can fund a payout through a Stellar anchor. The current flow is a testnet simulation and does not deliver real fiat.

<Warning>
  Identity verification and payouts are simulated on testnet. Do not enter real identity documents, bank credentials, or other sensitive personal data.
</Warning>

## Test the flow

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Offramp">
    Select **Offramp**. This action appears only when the deployment reports an available test anchor.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a payout route">
    Review the anchor, its stated coverage, payout method, asset, and amount.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete simulated verification">
    Confi.cash sends you to the anchor's hosted test page. Complete only the simulated fields presented by the test flow.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the destination">
    The anchor returns a destination assigned to this payout session. Confi.cash uses it to associate the on-chain payment with the test payout.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve the shielded withdrawal">
    Your browser proves the withdrawal and the relayer submits it. Follow the status in Confi.cash until the test anchor marks the payout complete or failed.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What the anchor can see

The current mock anchor receives:

* The amount and asset crossing the public withdrawal boundary.
* The payout destination and simulated identity data used in the test verification flow.
* The timing and status of the payout session.

A production regulated payout provider would need to identify its customer and could connect these details. The current mock anchor uses simulated identity data, but shielding the funding path still does not hide the test payout from that anchor service.

<Info>
  If the simulated payout fails, the app may offer a private refund claim. Follow the on-screen recovery state and avoid starting a second claim for the same session.
